My friend Paula texted me last week and told me about this awesome deal that Blue Apron was advertising, basically I would get 3 meals (for two people) for ten dollars. So I immediately jumped on that opportunity.
Last night was our first night of trying Blue Apron, we had their Brown Butter Cod. I loved it! I have never made Cod before so we were definitely pleased with the results.
Ingredients:
2 Cod Fillets
3 Garlic Cloves
2.5 ounces Shishito Peppers
1 Ear of Corn
3/4 Pound Purple Potatoes
1 Bunch Oregano
Knick Knacks
2 Tbsp. Butter
2 Tbsp. Sherry Vinegar
1 Shallot

Here is what my process looked like:
All my ingredients came in this insulated bag in a box of course.
There were two large ice packs in the insulated bags.
What is looks like with you first open up your bag. Everything in there is so nicely labeled, which I loved especially if you are unfamiliar with some of the ingredients.
Here are all of my ingredients to make the Brown Butter Cod.

In advance I cut up all of my vegetables prior to cooking them. I actually ended omitting my Shishito Peppers, because I honestly do not care for them.
Here are my potatoes cooking, once they are tender you can pull them off the the heat. Always test your thickest one, if that one is tender then you know the rest of them are good to go.
My corn, shallots, garlic are all being cooking together.
I browned my Cod Fillets, I then added the Sherry Vinegar.
