For about a week Pittsburgh has been more snowy and cold than it has been all winter long. Just a few weeks ago we hit 78 degrees…it was heaven, but I must admit I am really anxious for April. With the cold weather upon us still…..
I thought it would be fun to put a twist to your normal Hot Chocolate and make Unicorn Hot Chocolate. Plus, I knew that Sophia would just love it.
Ingredients: **I doubled my recipe**
2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Tsp. Vanilla
1 TBSP. Granulated Sugar
4 ounces White Chocolate, chopped
Food Coloring
Whipped Cream
Pastel Marshmellows
Color Icing (in the baking isle)
Sprinkles
Directions:
- Put your Milk, Vanilla, Sugar, White Chocolate, Food Coloring in a pot and allow to get hot. Stir it until everything is melted.
- Put your icing around the rim of your glass mug…add sprinkles on the sides of the mug. Pour Hot Chocolate in the mug..add Whipped Cream to the top along. Add Sprinkles.
- Use your imagination & enjoy!
I used the Sweetpolita Carousel Sprinkle Medley and I also took some Rainbow Marshmallows from Sophia’s Lucky Charms cereal! If you have never checked out Sweetpolita sprinkles I highly…highly recommend it! I want a bulk bag in every Sprinkle medley she has!
This was a lot of fun do to, the only thing is I wish I would have used my Wilton Gel Food Coloring instead, it would have made my purple Hot Chocolate brighter.
I am going to bombard your with Sophia photos now….
Her first time eating snow…
I guess it wasn’t a good as it looked…
