How to Make Confetti Balloons!

Sophia’s birthday was Confetti theme this year, so I knew that I wanted to have Confetti Balloons all over the place. To be honest I was not quite sure how to go about making them. So, after doing a good amount of research I found it was going to be easier and much more cost efficient if I did them myself, rather than ordering them. Or have someone do them for me.

For the confetti I cut up old tissue paper that I received from prior birthdays, baby showers, holidays..etc. Many party stores that I contacted that have done Confetti Balloons for customers in the past do not recommend using the glitter confetti. Due to the balloons popping once helium is injected into the balloon.

Let’s Talk About Buttercream

It’s all about Buttercream today folks!

It is one of my favorite things to make, and it is not as hard as you may think. All it takes is a little patience. One of my favorite buttercream’s to make is Italian Buttercream, you can’t go wrong with it. It’s definitely my go to buttercream when I am decorating or frosting a cake.

It is not greasy, heavy or overly sweet. It’s perfect.

Mama’s Homemade Egg Rolls

My mom makes the best egg rolls known to man kind. I am really picky with egg rolls. This summer I have been having a really hard time find a Chinese restaurant where their egg rolls aren’t mushy inside. So I have been dying for my moms egg rolls they are super good and very versatile.

I am going to share with you her recipe that she made up herself. A lot of my moms recipes are to taste meaning your add as much or as little as you want of certain spices.

Lasagna Baked Penne

Have you ever heard of Hello Fresh? They provide you with all the ingredients you will need to make dinner and the best part is they deliver everything you need to your front door. I personally have not tried it, but would love to give it a try sometime. When I went on their website to check out how much their boxes would be to subscribe, I noticed that you are able to search their recipes. Which I thought was awesome, so before you commit to a subscription you can try a few recipes to see if you would like their food. And that is exactly what I did.
