Hydrangeas happen to be one of my favorite summer flowers. I believe one of my favorite parts about summer are flowers and Bumble Bees. There has always been a soft spot in my heart for fresh flowers in a bedroom or living room. It just adds a special touch, especially if you can cut them from your own garden.
Yesterday I spent a good part of the morning and into the early afternoon with Sophia outside. Definitely before it became ultra hot and muggy out. I have not done any random photo shots in a long while, so yesterday was a perfect day for it.
Sophia and I had a very impromptu day trip to Keystone State Park. My niece Savannah stayed over my house a few days this week to go swimming with us. When it was time for her to go home my sister invited us to go Keystone with them. So that meant we skipped out on our usual day at the pool. We packed a duffle bag filled with bug spray, sunblock, blankets, towels etc along with our cooler filled with tons of water bottles and fruit. And off we went, thankfully I only live about 40 minutes away so the drive wasn’t to bad and Sophia was able to get a nap in.
Okay. I wish I could tell you that we have given up on growing broccoli..given up on our thirty pound porker and just moved on. But that is not the case. We are desperate to catch this groundhog.
